Mission Statement

Residents Against Illegal Fireworks is dedicated to protecting the safety and well-being of California communities by advocating for policies and actions that reduce the dangers posed by illegal fireworks. We work to ensure that every resident feels secure in their homes and neighborhoods by promoting public safety, fire prevention, and community resilience.

Through collaboration with local governments, the California State Fire Marshal, and the California State Legislature, we champion stricter enforcement of laws against the sale and use of illegal fireworks. Our advocacy efforts include public education campaigns, legislative initiatives, and community engagement to address the risks these activities pose to lives, property, and public safety.

We are committed to supporting organizations and events that responsibly use California State Fire Marshal-Approved Safe and Sane Fireworks, fostering a safe and legal way to celebrate while preserving vital nonprofit fundraising opportunities.
